Terms of Service
for Everyday Hero Academy Instructors
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
1 Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to teach EHAcademy courses, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- 1. AHA-Certified Bridge: Hold a current, valid American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructor or Heartsaver Instructor certification and successfully complete the EHAcademy Bridge Course.
- 2. Full EHAcademy Instructor Course: Register for, complete, and pass the full EHAcademy Instructor Course before delivering any EHAcademy curriculum.
EHAcademy reserves the right to verify certification status and course completion at any time.
2 Use of Curriculum
Instructors are required to teach the EHA CPR and First Aid curriculum exactly as provided, with no alterations, additions, or omissions. This ensures instructional quality, consistency, and compliance with ILCOR standards.
3 Instructor Responsibility and Liability
Instructors are solely responsible for:
- Delivering the curriculum as designed
- Providing adequate hands-on instruction
- Maintaining their AHA certification status
Everyday Hero Academy is not liable for training outcomes, nor for incidents involving students who have been certified. Instructors agree to uphold instructional standards and are fully accountable for any deviation from the provided curriculum.
4 Optional Insurance
EHA strongly recommends that instructors carry professional liability insurance, especially if teaching independently or outside of an employer-sponsored environment.
5 Certification Issuance
Digital certification cards are issued by Everyday Hero Academy upon submission and approval of completed class rosters. Cards will display the course name, completion date, and the name of the issuing instructor or their company.
6 Subscription Terms
Monthly Subscription: $100/month
Includes access for 2 instructors, each with unlimited digital certification issuance.
Additional Instructor Options:
- • $20 one-time fee: Instructor can be listed on a single class roster only
- • $50/month add-on: Instructor gains unlimited certification access for the month
• Subscriptions renew monthly and may be canceled at any time. No partial-month refunds.
• Canceling a subscription revokes access to the class management portal, instructor tools, and certification system.
7 Termination of Access
Everyday Hero Academy reserves the right to terminate access or suspend instructor privileges at its discretion in cases of suspected abuse, misconduct, curriculum tampering, or failure to meet eligibility requirements.
8 Support & Platform Services
Subscribers receive:
- A secure portal for managing classes and tracking student records
- Automated issuance of compliant certification PDFs
- Long-term digital record storage
- Technical support for account and portal access issues
Additional platform upgrades and features may be released at the discretion of EHA.
By using the Everyday Hero Academy platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
